One West Condominiums
The mix of cladding on the building had seen its better days. The building had been leaking enough that the decks were completely rebuilt as part of the scope of repair. PBE was hired to remove all cladding, repair framing decay, reframe post and beam decks & reclad with James Hardie Fiber Cement. All was accomplished while the building fully remained occupied.
Scope of Work
Replacement of current siding with Hardie Panel and Plank.
Upgraded exterior plywood shear walls sheathing and added a layer of denglass sheathing.
Re-frame of decks including posts, beams, joists and sheathing. Installation of new aluminum deck rails.
Installation of new Arcadia storefront entry doors, VPI sliding glass doors and windows throughout the project.
New 24 gauge roof coping caps and chimney caps.
Siplast patio waterproofing with PacPoly 5000x2 at elevated decks.
